Asus ZenFone C Budget Smartphone Launched: Price and Specifications

Asus has a launched a new budget phone, dubbed the Asus ZenFone C (ZC451CG) in India. Asus ZenFone C is set offer 4.5 inch display and Intel Processor on budget. The Asus ZenFone C was released last month in Malaysia and is now available in India via Indian e-commerce website, Flipkart, and will be available in Asus Retail stores from Februrary 18.

The design of the phone is very appealing. Asus ZenFone C measures 136.5 x 67 x 10.9mm, and weighs 149 grams, and is listed in Red, White and Black color variants. Asus ZenFone C packs sensors such as accelerometer, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. Apart from 3G, the Asus ZenFone C offers GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth connectivity options.

The Asus ZenFone C is a dual-SIM device (3G+2G) which runs the recent Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box with Zen UI on top. It comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display. Asus ZenFone C comes with its 2100mAh battery. Asus ZenFone C is powered by a 1.2 Ghz Dual-core Intel Atom processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash while there is a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also on board. The Asus ZenFone C comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card.

The sales of the phone begin Februrary 18, when we will get to see the impact of the phone on the market. The phone will directly compete with the Lenovo A6000.
