HTC One M9 Specifications Leaked: Snapdragon 805, 16MP Camera

Although it’s still a quarter or two away from release, reports from China indicate HTC might be ready with its iteration, the HTC M9. While HTC’s current flagship device received Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS update last month, rumors suggest the HTC One M9 will come with a 5.5 inch qHD (1440×2560 pixel) display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor 64GB/128GB inbuilt storage, 3GB of RAM and a 3500mAh battery, on par with other latest devices like Samsung Galaxy 4 and Google Nexus 6.

Reports also suggest the HTC One M9 to run on Android 5.0 Lollipop and feature a 16-megapixel rear camera, which means that HTC might be ditching it’s UltraPixel technology, introduced in both One M7 and One M8 flagship devices. Moreover, we expect HTC to stick to premium-grade materials for its next flagship, with the HTC One M9’s casing said to be made from an aluminium silicon-carbide composite. In the past, HTC’s devices have come with BoomSound audio technology, formerly Beats Audio technology, but with Apple’s acquisition of Beats, we expect HTC to collaborate with Bose.
