Samsung Launches Galaxy Note 4 in India at Rs. 58,300

Samsung launched its flagship phone, the Galaxy Note 4, today at a starting price of Rs. 58,300 with an MRP of 61,500. Available for purchase a day before Diwali, releasing alongside the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, we can expect some fierce competition, not only from these phones, but also from the customers to get their hands on a piece before stocks run out.

It comes packed with the Snapdragon 805 clocked at 2.7GHz quad-core processor instead of the 1.9GHz octa-core processor. Running on 4.4 KitKat, it displays a 5.7 inch Quad-HD Super AMOLED display (1440×2560) comes with a very high pixel density of 515ppi, second in the line following the Galaxy S5. With a thickness of 8.5mm and a weight of 176 grams, it is very sleek. It comes preloaded with a 3GB RAM.

The rear camera is a 16MP autofocus camera with smart OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and a UV sensor, which makes it one of the best cameras out there on a phone. The front facing camera of 3.7MP is more than enough required for your chats. If that wasn’t enough, it also permits you to take wide-angle selfies. With an inbuilt 32GB and with an expandable memory upto 64GB, storage is not a problem. It has a newly included hall sensor and a barometer to boot.

The huge leap made by the Note 4 over its predecessors lies in its battery. Although the 3220mAh Lithium-ion battery maybe just a mere 20mAh higher than the Note 3, the magic lies in its charging cycle. Samsung has guaranteed that through Adaptive Fast Charging, the phone will charge from 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes! Unlike anything seen before, this battery technology has the potential to revolutionize the world of phones and phablets.

If all that still didn’t grab your attention; as a tie-up Vodafone is offering upto 2GB of data per month for subscribers on the first Vodafone SIM inserted into the phablet. That bundled with 14 preloaded Indian languages namely Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Gujrati, Urdu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Marathi, Oriya and Assamese; it is made for the Indian Market. Available in the Frost White, Charcoal Black, Bronze Gold and Blossom Pink it has definitely made a big splash on its announcement. All that’s left to see is which makes a bigger splash. The Iphone or the Note 4.
