Here's how to book Xiaomi Mi3 from Flipkart the easy way

Xiaomi has recently created a lot of buzz in social media, teaming up with Flipkart to launch it’s Mi3 smartphone in India. This surely has got a lot of media and buyer attention. They are offering the smartphone in restricted way, the users are suppose to register for the ‘flash-sale’ about 1 week before the sale. The device itself is pretty solid, especially for the price it sells for. Xiaomi Mi3 is exclusively sold via Flipkart, just like we had Moto G and E previously.

The early stocks of the Mi3 were sold out in second, literally. The site itself saw downtimes and problems due to the huge traffic hitting their website. They were only able to fix it after 2-3 sales of Mi3, but it’s all fine now. The last lot was out of stock in 2.3 seconds.

You can just skip at the end of the post on how to book the Mi3 easily.

How to book Mi3 quickly and easily?

This is sort of an hack to book the Mi3, but works pretty well. All you have to do it to run the script just about 5-10 minutes before the sale starts and this script will take care of everything else. You still need to be registered to buy the device before the sale.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open the Flipkart Mi3 Page.
  2. Open the console on this page, hit Ctrl + Shift + J on Chrome.
  3. Copy paste the contents on this file into the console. This is the javascript hack to book the Mi3 as soon as possible.
  4. The script tries to buy the device every second. I was able to grab the device on 19 Aug using the script.
  5. Make sure to begin running the script only 5-10 min before the sale time, and keep it running until the sale is over.
  6. The script will alert you when it will be able to book the Mi3 for you.
  7. Now, just continue to the Cart and pay for your order!

This hack is pretty easy. To be noted that this script was written on 19 Aug 2014 during the sale of Mi3 and it worked perfectly. I can’t guarantee that you will be able to buy the device for sure, but this script is pretty easy and there’s no harm is trying this.
