Samsung 'Exynos' teases a new announcement – Note 4 Processor?

Samsung Exynos (@SamsungExynos) posted a tweet, stating “Tomorrow we have something new and exciting to show you. Stay tuned! #ExynosTomorrow”. One would expect the announcement to be about Exynos 5433, which could be the SoC (System-on-Chip) on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in Non-4G LTE markets, as a substitute to the Qualcomm Snapdragon SoCs found in LTE markets like the United States.

The Exynos 5433 is pretty much the same as the Nvidia Tegra K1, scoring much higher in Benchmarks than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805. However, it is said that  the Tegra K1 was 1080p display-running device, whereas Exynos 5433 was on a device with a 2560 x 1440 resolution (which also happens to be the expected resolution of the Galaxy Note 4).

That being said, there are a lot of consumers in countries like India who would rather prefer their high-end smartphone have a Snapdragon SoC rather than one by Samsung, due to the greater degree of open-ness and developer support  offered by Qualcomm as opposed to Samsung, which results in lower number of custom ROMs and/or their support!

Of course, the so-called ‘exciting announcement’ is not confirmed to be that of Exynos 5433, and could very well be for something else. Any guesses? Let us know in the comments section!
