Why Should One Go For Moto E? Best, Cheapest Android Smartphone!

The Motorola Smartphones are slowly dominating the Android Smartphone Market, especially in India where people look for affordable smartphones. It offers decent specifications at a very low cost, probably, the company is cutting down their profits, but making a space for their smartphones. A great move by Motorola, I would say. In this post, we’ll be discussing the reason why one should opt for Moto E, one of the cheapest Android Smartphones (no compromises are made on the device specifications and performance) available in India. Let’s start with it:

1. Display

Moto E sports a 4.3-inch display with 960x540p resolution. When we compare to its rival smartphones in the same price range, we can easily make out that Moto E stands out, where all the other smartphones offer an approximate of 4-inch display with a poor resolution. The display is not only restricted to a good screen size and resolution, but the Moto E also features Corning Gorilla Glass 3, so you don’t have to worry about scratches on your device.

2. RAM

A 1GB RAM at this price? That’s unbelievable. Moto E offers 1GB of RAM, but the other entry-level smartphones manage to deliver not more than 512MB of RAM. Most of the Android Smartphones in this price segment often run out of memory, so this won’t be an issue with the Moto E. 1GB RAM, along with Snapdragon 200 processor which is clocked at 1.2GHz with a dual core A7 CPU and an Adreno 302 GPU, will ensure that your device runs smoothly and lag-free.

A big thumbs up to Motorola (Lenovo) for the excellent performance.

3. Software

The most important and the most significant difference when we compare all the entry-level Android smartphones. Moto E is the ‘only’ (yes, only) Android smartphone which is running the latest version of Android, i.e, Android KitKat. And Motorola has assured its users that the Moto E will also get an update to the next Android Software (4.5 or 5.0) as soon as it is made available.

4. Splash Resistant Screen

This smartphone might not be totally water-resistant, but it is said to be ‘Splash Resistant’ that means that the smartphone can survive a few splashes of water, but might not be able to stay under water. That’s decent enough for a smartphone at this cost.

5. Price

Undoubtedly, this is the factor which most of the people look for. In the entire post, I haven’t mentioned the price of this smartphone, well let’s do it now. The Moto E is priced as low as Rs. 6,999/- Yes, you read it right. All the above mentioned features at such a low price! It’s incredible and I don’t think you should be giving this smartphone a second thought, if you looking for a cheap and decent Android Smartphone.
