Upcoming Android Smartphones – Summer 2014

1. Samsung Galaxy Note 4

 

Samsung updates the Galaxy S series every few months, by adding a few fresh smartphones to it – some being the successors of already existing ones. But when it comes to Note Series, Samsung’s events are class apart. Note series, being the business smartphones from Samsung gets an annual update and we’re expecting to see the Note 4 this Summer at the IFA 2014 in Berlin. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is also expected to feature the new version of Android, the ‘L’ version which will be announced at this year’s Google I/O in the month of June. So, if you want a huge display with a great screen quality and running the latest version of Android, there’s no doubt about the fact that you should wait for this device.

2. LG G3

Whenever someone imagines LG as an Android OEM, the first thing that comes into the mind is ‘Nexus’. But, what the hidden truth is that LG’s G series also gained attention from all over the world during the launch of the LG G2. LG manufactured G2 with an excellent LCD panel and we’re expecting LG to give us much more with this one. LG G3 is also rumoured to running on 3GB of RAM, with LG’s new Odin octa-core ARM processor.

3. Moto X+1

If you’re an Android Fan, it’s obvious that you loved the Moto X. But what we’re hearing today is something surprising, Motorola has planned to name it’s flagship smartphone, Moto X+1, the Moto X’s successor. That’s one of the worst names one can think of, but yeah, that’s probably the truth. However, there have been no confirmations on the name from Motorola.

4. Nexus 6

Everyone is waiting for the Nexus 6, the next Nexus Device after the huge success of the previous smartphones, like the Nexus 4 and the Nexus 5, both dominating the Android Markets in their time. People are expecting a lot from the new Nexus device, as the features like the 4K Video Recording, Water and Dust Resistance are still missing from the smartphones. There have been no confirmations regarding the name or the specifications about the new Nexus Device. We are also eagerly waiting for the confirmation about the manufacturer, previous one being LG.
