Google Chromebook Pixel leak, hints to be real

Recently a video was leaked that featured a Google made Chromebook with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1700 with touchscreen. This resolution is same as the Retina Macbook Pro.

“The more pixels we add, the more wonderful the world”

This was said by the narrator of the video to highlight the resolution of the screen.

We were not sure earlier about the truth of this video, but now as some evidence is there, it seams like this is real.

There was a leak of little piece of documentation, that said:

Yet another set of tweaks to the lightbar patterns:

At Startup or wake from sleep, Google colors cycle in.

While running, > 25% power level in the battery: All blue, in a breathing effect (cycle up and down 30%).

While running,

Shutting down, or going into sleep: Cycle out the Google colors

The feature described above is certainly not found in any of the current generation of Chromebooks but can be seen in the leaked video. The documentation also shows an evidence of back-lit keyboard, which is also shown in the video.

Let it be real or fake, Google needs to build such a Chromebook in order to keep Chromebooks up in the market, and this is pretty much the best time for Chrome OS to grow.
