Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini lands in India.

Finally, the long awaited Samsung’s low end Android smartphone Galaxy SIII Mini has made its way to the Indian shores. Though, it is still not available officially. But those who are willing to shell out Rs. 17,500 for record breaking Samsung Galaxy SIII’s little brother can grab it from the grey market. The phone is powered with a 1GHz Dual Core NovaThor U8420 processor and comes equipped with 1 GB ram. The phone runs on the latest Android Jelly Bean 4.1.  It is powered with a 1500mAH battery which should be sufficient for a device of this configuration.

Apart from these features the phone has all the usual features as well sensors such as Accelerometer, Gyro and Proximity sensors. The design is similar to its elder brother Samsung Galaxy SIII.

Though this phone has reached the Indian shores a little late as it was launched in countries like UK and US back in November. But I don’t think this would stop Indian consumers from buying a phone that not only offers quite some features but has also been priced competitively. Moreover, Samsung has been successful in winning the heart of Indian consumers by delivering  loaded devices that are  priced rightly.

Price: $328 (In the Indian Grey markets: Rs. 17,500/-)
