Motorola is all geared up to launch the Moto G Turbo in India tomorrow. After the success of # generations of the Moto G, Moto aims to get the same results with the G Turbo. The company has been dropping subtle hints for the past three days about the incoming phone, revealing tiny details of the device.

Moto G Turbo

The Moto G Turbo follows the footsteps of the Moto Turbo, the only other Moto phone in India to sport the Turbo badge. What it essentially means is that the Moto G turbo will support Turbo Charging (Motorola’s fast charging tech) and will have a Turbo Charger in the box. The charger chargers at a higher current helping the device charge faster.

The device was recently launched in Mexico and as per the official Motorola page, the device has a 5 inch display with HD resolution. The display also gets the Gorilla Glass 3 coating on it which will keep minor scratches off the device. The processor however gets a bump as it is a Snapdragon 615 which is an Octa Core chipset when compared to the Snapdragon 410 in the current Moto G 3rd Gen. The internal storage and RAM remains the same at 16GB and 2GB respectively.

Moto G Turbo

The G Turbo has a 13 megapixel camera at the back with a Dual Tone LED flash and a 5 megapixels front facing camera. The device is IP67 rated which makes it Dust and Waterproof and might be among the few phones to have such specification under Rs 20,000. The phone has a the same 2470mAh non removable battery like the Moto G 3rd Gen but it gets Turbo Charging. Motorola claims that the supplied charger can charge the phone for 6 hours of use in just 15 minutes.

The price of the phone as of now isn’t disclosed but we think the device may be priced around Rs. 16,000. Such pricing will put it right in between the Moto G 3rd Gen and the Moto X Play also making it a competitor to the OnePlus X. It would be see how the Moto G Turbo fairs in the market.
