Gionee at its Beijing event on Wednesday launched the Elife E8 and Marathon M5 smartphones. The Elife E8 is priced at CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 40,000), and will go on sale in China on July 15. The Marathon M5 on the other hand is priced at CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 23,000), and will go on sale in China on June 25. Japanese tech giant Sony Corp., announced the new Sony Xperia C4 smartphone this week, the camera is the star of Sony’s newest smartphone. With its 5 MP front-facing camera and a 13 MP rear facing camera, the Sony Xperia C4 smartphone is designed for selfie lovers and enthusiasts who seek to capture sharp and clear photos. Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2015:
The Apple WWDC this year was one of the longest Keynote from Apple but nothing overly exciting with new introductions but Apple chose to improve on its current software offerings, with the announcement of iOS 9, and the new version of OSX christened “El Capitan”, and the long awaited music streaming service Apple Music was introduced with much fanfare, the launch was imminent given Apple’s takeover of Beats last year. Xiaomi Mi4 undergoes another Price Drop:
Xiaomi never ceases to amaze us. The latest announcement by Hugo Barra, the face of Xiaomi in India, reveals that the price of the 64GB Mi 4 has been dropped by Rs 4,000 and will be now available at Rs 19,999 on Flipkart. If you head to the e-commerce site, the device is up for sale at the reduced price and also has an exchange offer which offers a reduction of almost Rs 5000 effectively putting the price of it at around Rs 14,999 also the price of the 16GB model has been dropped by Rs 2000 to Rs 17,999 and with the exchange offer it comes to about Rs 12,999. Oculus Pre-E3 Conference:
Oculus has through its pre-conference announcements, showed off its new controllers, and mentioned the suite of games that will be available. It has also announced its tie up with Microsoft to ship its Headset with the Xbox One controller. Samsung Introduces Mirror OLED TV:
Samsung unveiled a line of transparent and mirrored OLED displays that it intends to sell to retail stores before bringing them into our living rooms one day down the road. Samsung Display’s Mirror OLED display panel delivers at least 50 percent higher reflectance than competition. Its a huge revolution which promises to improve the viewing experience and also addresses the problem of oversaturation of colors in 4K TVs, it promises to give the user a better experience of gaming, watching movies, and TV shows.
