In an event held at New Delhi, India the smartphone manufacturer, Sony announced its latest flagship offering called the Sony Xperia Z3+ (known as the Xperia Z4 in many countries). The Xperia Z3+ will be available in four colours, which are White, Aqua Green, Copper and Black and will be available in markets starting today at a price tag of Rs. 55,990. We had a chance to try out the product and we will be uploading our experience with the same shortly.

The Sony Xperia Z3+ comes with a 5.2-inch full HD IPS LCD display, translating to a pixel density of 424ppi. To protect the display is the scratch resistant glass along with the oleo-phobic coating, which Alex Dobie from AndroidCentral reports is horrible. The phone is just 6.9mm thin and weighs just 144 grams, and to top it all it is an IP certified, which means that the phone is dust and water resistant for upto 30 minutes at a depth of 1.5 meters.

Internally, the Xperia Z3+ comes with 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage (which is expandable to upto 128GB with a microSD card). The powerful performance on the phone is due to the presence of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810, along with Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2 GHz Cortex-A57. All your gaming and multimedia needs will be taken care off by the Adreno 430 GPU. On the camera front, the device comes with a 20.7MP rear camera (capable of recording 4K videos) and the front camera is a 5.1MP (capable of recording 1080p videos) to take care of all your selfie needs.

The Xperia X3+ will be available through offline retailers, but it is also expect to hit the online stores soon. The best part about the smartphone is that it comes bundled with a Quick Charger, which can charge your smartphone for upto 5.5 hours of usage in just 10 minutes.
