Micromax has launched the second generation version of Canvas Hue, dubbed ‘Canvas Hue 2’ which is in the market at Rs. 11,736 and can be purchased at e-commerce website of eBay. To everyone’s surprise there were no announcements on the launch of this model. It can also be bought at retail store as a Mumbai-based retailer claimed that Hue 2 is available at retailer stores and is sold at Rs. 12,499 (MOP), while the MRP value of the model is hiked to Rs. 17,999.

The specifications of this model include a 5-inch 720p AMOLED display with 1.7 Ghz Octa-core Mediatek MT6582 processor for seamless multi-tasking usage without any lag or latency in the display. It also includes 2 GB RAM for quicker operation and faster loading of applications from the hard disk. The internal memory which is otherwise stated as ROM, is available at 16 GB by default and can be expanded up to 32 GB of storage space using an external memory card or an external hard disk.

The phone features a dual SIM facility and provides 3G network in both the SIMs. The entire model operates on an operating system Android v4.4 (KitKat) and will provide various customization facilities and can be updated with the latest Android v5.1 (Lollipop).The camera also includes high resolution 13MP rear camera with auto-focus facility and LED flash is also included with an added feature of Sony sensor. Coming to the front-end the camera is 5 MP camera for capturing selfies and groupies.

It also includes 3G network with the data transfer rate of the HSPA+ (H+) technology which gives more speed than the traditional 3G network which will be visible as HSPA (H).These features are all powered by a 2000mAh replaceable battery for continuous operation which can deliver power up to 7 hours of talk-time and 205 hours of standby time.
