It is no surprise that the Chinese smartphone brands have realised the infinite potential of the Indian market. After Xiaomi, OnePlus and Oppo another chinese smartphone maker, Meizu has made their debut entry in India with the Meizu M1 Note. The company also announced that the phone is priced at Rs. 11,999 and would be an Amazon exclusive model, going on sale from 2 pm today.
Unlike Xiaomi or Huawei’s Honor brand that have used flash sales to sell phones which in turn helped them gain attention, Meizu has not preferred to go that route. The phone was launched in December 2014 in China.

The company says that the display comes with Panel Self Refresh Technology and has a pixel density of 403 ppi. According to the company, the GFF full lamination on the screen ensures 75% less reflection.
The smartphone runs on Meizu’s custom Flyme 4 OS on top of Android 4.4 KitKat. It is powered by a 1.7Ghz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor which is paired with 2GB of RAM. The phone comes with 16GB of internal memory and doesn’t feature a microSD card slot which means no external storage.
The phone comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with a five-element f2.2 lens and has dual-LED flash, the secondary camera has 5 megapixel. The connectivity options for the handset are LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
