The much rumored, Xiaomi Mi 4i has gone official with a not so small event held in New Delhi India. It isn’t just Mi 4i that’s been launched, Xiaomi also used this opportunity to launch its Mi Band in India. The Mi Band is priced at Rs. 999 (~$16), arguably the best for its price. The showstopper of the event, Xiaomi Mi 4i will enter sales on 30 April with a Flipkart flash sale, the registrations to which are open since 23rd of April. The phone will be available for the unbelievable cost of Rs. 12,999 (~$205).

Xiaomi Mi 4i has a lot to offer, which will make it the first choice for the customer. The jaw-dropping features start with Xiaomi Mi 4i’s 2nd Generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM. It is said to feature an ARM Cortex A53 architecture with 4performance cores at 1.7 Ghz and 4 power-saving cores at 1.1 Ghz. The processor will come to full use to power the beautiful wide angle 5-inch Full HD display coming in at 441 ppi. The display can be used as a wonderful viewfinder for the 13 MP 5 element lens rear camera with two-tone flash and the 5 MP front camera. For connectivity the phone features Bluetooth 4.1, GLONASS, GPS, Wi-Fi(802.11ac), Wi-Fi Direct, 4G Dual SIM and USB OTG but no Micro SD card support, all the user will have is the 16GB flash storage. To power all this, the phone sports a massive 3120mAh battery with a included fast charger, capable of charging the first 40% in an hour. All this will come to life with the all new MiUi 6 based on the Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Oddly, Xiaomi didn’t talk much about the new MiUi 6. Other than the Mi Band and Mi 4i, Xiaomi was also excited to announce 100 Million worldwide MiUi users. There are many things, which make Xiaomi Mi 4i a best buy. Starting from the Soft Touch Matte back finish, the octa-core processor, true tone flash, 2 GB RAM to the unibody design and 3120mAh battery.
