Lenovo A6000 Plus Announced, Registrations Now Open

News

Lenovo has announced a new phone, the Lenovo A6000 Plus. The device was announced after the first sale of its recently launched A7000. The China based company has not yet provided any updates on the price and availability of the device.

The Lenovo A6000 Plus is almost similar to the A6000 but has double the RAM and storage. So what you get is a 5 inch screen with a 720p display which isn’t really good as the pixel density goes down to a low 267 PPI. The phone will have 16GB of storage ands since the phone has a microSD card slot, a user can put in a memory upto 32GB for additional storage space. The rear camera sports a 8 Megapixel sensor while at the front facing camera has a 5 Megapixel sensor. The device is powered by a 2300mAH battery which is removable. When Lenovo launched the A6000 some months ago they promoted it as the cheapest 4G enabled in India. Within a short span they unveiled the A7000 which had major spec bumps as compared to the A6000.

Both the devices were sold exclusively on e-commerce giant Flipkart and have sold out within seconds of the sale which happens once in a week. And Lenovo; which is the worlds number one seller of PC’s is making a huge mark in the mobile devices market. They are currently the third highest seller and the way their phones are selling we wouldn’t be surprised if they move up the ladder. The phones are a major competition to the Xiaomi Redmi 2 and Redmi Note 4G. But now since Xiaomi phones are selling on various sites and that too at all times people may tend to goes for those devices if they miss out on Lenovo’s in the flash sales.
