Microsoft has a launched a new budget phone, dubbed the Microsoft Lumia 435 in India. Microsoft Lumia 435 is set offer 4.0 inch display and Windows 8.1 on budget. The Microsoft Lumia 435 was released earlier this week and is now available in India via company’s online store for Rs.5999 (~$100).

The design of the phone is very appealing. Microsoft Lumia 435 measures 118.1×64.7×11.7mm, and weighs 134 grams, and is listed in White and Black color variants while the Bright Green and Bright Orange variants are expected soon. Microsoft Lumia 435 packs sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope and proximity sensor. Apart from 3G, the Microsoft Lumia 435 offers GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth connectivity options.

The Microsoft Lumia 435 is a dual-SIM device (3G+2G) which runs the Windows Phone 8.1 OS. It comes with a 4.0-inch (480×800 pixels) display. Asus ZenFone C comes with a 1560mAh battery. Microsoft Lumia 435 is powered by a 1.2 Ghz Dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It sports a 2-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera with no LED flash along with a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also on board. The Microsoft Lumia 435 comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card.

The phone might not be the most feature rich offering in the price segment, but surely is a unique one. The design of the phone is soothing but the camera is in no way acceptable for this price segment.
