ZTE Blade S6 Launched: Specifications and Price

ZTE has launched another Blade branding smartphone the ZTE Blade S6 at an event in Hong Kong. The company announced that ZTE Blade S6 will be available for ₹15,300 ($249.99) and the supply will start from Feburary 10 globally. The phone will sold via AliExpress, Amazon and Ebay.

The phone is very pleasent to look at and use. The phone will be sold in Silver and Pink colors. The front panel resembles the ZTE Nubia X6 which was released last year. The Chinese handset maker touts that the ZTE Blade S6 is “world’s first Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core smartphone running the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.” Some of the other highlights of the ZTE Blade S6 include ZTE’s AliveShare application for network-less communication and Smart Sense gesture motion control to which the ZTE forum says, “The ZTE Blade S6 features Smart Sense, which includes an intuitive and practical sets of gesture and motion controls, such as with a flick of the wrist that allows users to shine the Blade S6’s flashlight, activate its built-in mirror application, take rapid succession of photographs, play music, and much more.” These features may come in handy if you know that they are there when you need them. The 13MP rear camera with the SONY flash, if reports are to be belived is incredible. In all, the build is quite convincing and to me the phone looked very much like iPhone 6. The phone sports a 2400 mAh non removable battery which is, in my opinion, not satisfactory, taken in consideration the 5 inch 720p display.
