HTC’s tablets have not gained much attention ever, and failed to be a success story due to some reason or the other. HTC’s tablets which were unable to impress the users, include HTC Flyer and HTC Jetstream, both manufactured in the year 2011. But since, Nexus devices define perfection and deliver something which users want, the HTC Nexus 9 tablet will supposedly do well with the information we know as of now. HTC Nexus 9 will run on the latest operating system (Android L), will give users a performance and quality they wish for, and yet will be affordable. Here is everything which we know about the HTC Nexus 9 tablet:
There have been no confirmations about the specifications of the device, but since it is 2014 – everything is easy to predict. The expected specifications include a 8.9-inch display (2048×1440 pixels), which translates to be a pixel density og 281ppi, with an aspect ratio of 4:3 (unlike the previous Nexus tablets, which featured an aspect ratio of 16:9). The performance and stability of the device will be governed by NVIDIA Tegra K1 Processor, coupled with either 4GB or 2GB of RAM. The chances of witnessing a 2GB RAM on the tablet stands higher than the 4GB, though. Talking about the storage on the tablet, the Nexus 9 is expected to be available with both 16GB and 32GB of inbuilt storage, with no external MicroSD expansion. Coming to images, which most of the tablets fail of producing, Google seems to be working on this aspect, which will allow them to boast this good camera. It is expected to come with 8MP rear camera with image stabilization and a 3MP front facing camera to fulfill your selfie and video calling needs.
The image which was leaked by @UpLeaks on the internet indicate the tablet to be more of a squarish, rather than the previous designs seen in the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10, which in a strong indication that the Nexus 9 tablet will feature an aspect ratio of 4:3, rather than 16:9. The matte finish on the rear side continues to be the stand-out feature of the Nexus Tablet lineup. With a large ‘Nexus’ logo, on the rear side of the device, HTC logo can also be spotted on the lower end of the device. The camera of the Nexus sits on the upper left of the device, under which appears the LED Flash.
