‘Swing Copters’ – The Flappy Bird Creator is back with Another Game Coming Up

Disappointing many fans all over the world, Flappy Bird’s creator Dong Nguyen pulled down the game from both App Store and Play Store on February 11, 2014 and stated that he could not take it anymore, as the game had gone viral and people were addicted to it. He received several emails regarding how addictive people had become, and this served as the main reason for taking the popular game down.

But, as promised he is back with a ‘non-addictive’ game called ‘Swing Copters’, which is expected to be quite similar to the previous game, Flappy Birds. As we can see from the game’s poster, it will be a similar 8-bit game in which we’ll have to shoot up the helicopter instead of the bird. The game is expected to launch this week, and would be a free-to-play game, but you’ll have to pay $0.99 for the ads-free version of the game.

The teaser by TouchArcade, shows the game to be as addictive as the Flappy Bird. But the theory by the creator, Dong Nguyen seems to be a little weird by making a new application that does the similar work as that of the predecessor, just a graphics rip-off. Nevertheless, this game is a must-to-try out considering how viral the predecessor was.
