Hello friends! I’m really tired of suggesting phones, especially when everyone asks the same question – “Best smartphone under 10k?” So, here’s it. My list of the top smartphones under Rs. 10,000.

This had to be on the top of the list. Definitely a great phone, and yes – I own it. No problem till date, in the past one and a half month of usage. Likes – Smooth Windows 8 UI, Solid Design. Dislikes – The master sound control, some of the windows phone applications not compatible due to small resolution. Key SpecificationsOS: Windows Phone 8 CPU: 1GHz Dual-core Screen: 480 x 800 pixels, 4 inches Memory: 8GB Internal, 512MB RAM, MicroSD upto 64GB Camera: 5MP Rear

2. Karbonn S1 Titanium – Rs. 7,999 [Buy]

I know you won’t prefer buying Karbonn phones just because of brand issues. Believe me, it’s a really good phone that won’t give any issues, provided you use it like a human. Likes – Cheap Android Jelly Bean smartphone with 1.2GHZ Dual-core processor Dislikes – The camera quality is poor Key SpecificationsOS: Android OS v4.1 (Jelly Bean) CPU: 1.2GHz Dual-core Screen: 540 x 960 pixels, 4.5 inches Memory: 4GB Internal, 1GB RAM, MicroSD upto 32GB Camera: 5MP Rear

3. Lava Xolo Q700 – Rs. 9,799 [Buy]

I personally have never liked Lava mobile, but this smartphone has really blown my thoughts. A good mid-ranged phone and definitely a great buy. The screen is awesome, responsive and big. Likes – Loved the king-kong screen. Dislikes – Calls often give issues (screen not being responsive etc.) Key SpecificationsOS: Android OS v4.2 (Jelly Bean) CPU: 1.2GHz Dual-core Screen: 540 x 960 pixels, 4.5 inches Memory: 4GB Internal, 1GB RAM, MicroSD upto 32GB Camera: 5MP Rear

4. Micromax A88 (Music) – Rs. 8,699 [Buy]

If you’re a music lover, you should definitely go with it. (You’ll even get a JBL earphones :P) Though there are some complaints about phone getting heated up during calls and while playing games, but I think Micromax will find a fix to it, soon. No other problems spotted yet. Likes – Free JBL earphones, music quality. Dislikes – Phone heating up issues. Key SpecificationsOS: Android OS v4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) CPU: 1GHz Dual-core Screen: 480 x 960 pixels, 4.5 inches Memory: 4GB Internal, 512MB RAM, MicroSD upto 32GB Camera: 5MP Rear

5. Sony Xperia E Dual – Rs. 9,099 [Buy]

Good phone if you consider a general use, if you’re a teen, my suggestion – try something better! Though, it’s an affordable smartphone, but the resolution is really bad. Likes – Cheap dual-sim Android smartphone, which is now upgradable to Android Jelly Bean. Dislikes – Issues about handset getting heated-up and mic problems, bad resolution. Key SpecificationsOS: Android OS v4.0.4 (Ice-cream Sandwich) CPU: 1GHz  Screen: 320 x 480 pixels, 4.5 inches Memory: 4GB Internal, 512MB RAM, MicroSD upto 32GB Camera: 3.2MP Rear I hope this collection would surely help you out in choosing a smartphone of your choice, considering both aspects – specifications and the look factor.  Drop a comment about how you feel about my collection, you may suggest yours too.
