The Associated Press’ Twitter account hacked

Yes, that’s true. Many of you might be following The Associated Press on Twitter. In case you don’t, The Associated Press tweeted that “Two Explosions in the White House and Barack Obama is injured”. When checked, there was no such activity reported in the White House. Undoubtedly, everyone could understand that The Associated Press’ Twitter account had been hijacked and the tweet was soon termed as ‘bogus’.

The AP’s Twitter account has been suspended, which was expected so as to prevent further false information being put up.
